The Assistant Director of Equipment will perform other related duties as assigned. The Assistant Director of Equipment is responsible for the training and direct supervision of all student managers working within the Equipment Department as well as training and supervising student staff to include creating and maintaining their monthly work schedules within the designated budget.

The Assistant Director of Equipment, under the supervision of the Director of Equipment, will assist with the day-to-day operations of the Equipment Room to include, but not limited to, the preparation, maintenance and fitting of protective equipment used for football and Olympic sports along with the issuing and retrieving of equipment in accordance with all University, MEAC, NEC, and NCAA rules and regulations.
